Public Transportation

Take the subway lines (U-Bahn) U1 or U3 to “Stephansplatz/City”, then walk down Kärntnerstraße and turn left into Himmelpfortgasse.

Or take the U4 to the station “Stadtpark” and walk Johannesgasse across the Ringstraße up to Seilerstätte, where you turn right.

The central station “Karlsplatz/Oper” (U1, U2, U4, several trams) is about a 10 minute walk away. Walk past the opera onto Kärtnerstraße and turn right onto Himmelpfotgasse.

When taking the trams on the Ringstraße (1 and 2) get off at "Weihburggaasse", walk Weihburggasse towards the city up to Seilerstätte, where you turn left.

By Car

Before the Ringstraße (One-way street from the Urania towards the Opera) turn right into Johannesgasse (at the ÖAMTC office) and then turn right into Seilerstätte.

In front of our office there is a fee for parking between 9am and 7pm on weekdays. During the day it is easier to find parking spots, but at night it can be more difficult especially when there is a performance in theatre (Ronacher) across the street.

The closest garages are:

Beethovengarage (Beethovenplatz 3; enter via Fichtegasse or Kantgasse). From there you walk Kantgasse and turn left onto Johannesgasse. Cross the Ringstraße and walk to Seilerstätte, where you turn right.

Garage in the Ringstraßengalerien (enter via the opera on Mahlerstraße): Walk Mahlerstraße, then turn right onto Schwarzenbargstraße, turn left and walk until the “Haus der Musik”, where you turn right onto Seilerstätte.
